We were together since my senior year of high school. I never thought I'd be the one to say my husband is my sweetheart in high school, but here I am today living that reality. We really understand each other and even though we have our ups and downs, we always find a way to make it work. I believe that the secret to a long relationship is not having a perfect and harmonious love story. It's not how often you fight, or how many similarities and things you like to do together, or how many mistakes you've made. These things matter but it’s faith that keeps you going. A relationship will last if you are willing to not give up when things get tough, if you are both willing to stand up and try whenever one or both of you falls. You shouldn't lose hope when you encounter problems along the way. Give yourself hope and hold on as long as you can. This is how I can still say I'm with my high school
