  • Essay / Acting: the art of becoming all the characters in a single body

According to “The art of the actor: the essential history of acting, from the classical era to the present day” by Jean Benedetti, “ Playing is a way of showing our understanding of the world and transmitting it to others” (1). Such a statement has proven to be true if history is taken into account. One of the oldest art forms and careers in history, acting has established itself as one of the most important yet volatile careers of all time. Its vast history offers anyone who dares to become an actor a great understanding of different societies over the years and a deep meaning of why, despite all adversities, it is still one of the most sought after careers. More than just a job, and unlike many fields of work, acting is about passion and the ability to convey reality within fantasy. But why act? Because it is a career linked to all other existing careers; and succeeding requires more than you might think. Despite the expansion of Greek theaters, the art of acting began to decline middle of paper......uh, there are those who "break through" and earn more than the average worker, but When Before deciding to pursue a career in acting, one must understand and prepare for the difficulties and risks involved in such a pursuit. Fame and money should not be the first priority. Instead, anyone who aspires to become an actor should have a true love to become what no one had thought of before; creating a character so emotionally intense that those who came into contact with him will remember him for years. An actor should enjoy spending hours creating and studying his character, his story and context, and even more hours rehearsing lines and stage position, as well as camera and lighting position. It is the only career that allows you to become all the others and it can be extremely rewarding if taken seriously and above all with passion..
