Any Canadian old enough can tell you what it was like in September 1972. It's part of the culture in Canada and something of a way of life . Canadians have always been and will always be passionate about the great sport of hockey. The 1972 Canada-Soviet Summit Series allowed Canadians to embrace this passion together and see NHL players compete in an international tournament for the first time. We have always supported Canada in all the international tournaments they have participated in, and this one has stood out for the ages. The series of Canada-Soviet Union summits was exciting and inspired Canadians around the world, anchoring patriotic beliefs in their minds and allowing them to believe that they were proud to be Canadian. In addition to these patriotic beliefs, it also developed the sport of hockey and helped make the game as fast-paced and exciting as it is today. Here are three reasons to support this statement. The Canada-Soviet summit series had many moments that inspired the citizens of Canada and helped develop enthusiasm for hockey among people across Canada, including exposing the game to children of all ages. This can be supported for the following 3 reasons. Across Canada, schools were closed because everyone wanted to watch the game. "They closed every grade. Schools across Canada were so excited about the game that they canceled classes just to watch the games intently and became enamored with hockey. This series was also a source of inspiration. Canadian summit and gave them a sense of personal importance, it led them to perform acts of patriotism to defend and encourage the country. They love it. This showed that Canada still needs to develop its players to play better in difficult situations and stay ahead in a match. It showed that Canadian hockey still had work to do. This series of summits had given us one of the best. The greatest and most grueling performances Canadian and international hockey has ever seen. The way the Soviets came back and managed to win as many games as Canada was completely unexpected. It came down to one goal and Canada took the upper hand. this series which affected Canada deserves our attention. Canadian hockey and patriotism are stronger than ever. We are all proud to be Canadians and hockey fans and this series of summits has only ignited that passion even more..
