Additional drugs are now even more accessible to our teens, with amplified peer encouragement and additional behaviors to encourage feeling high in their way of think. Drug abuse may be more widespread than we think. This does not demonstrate favoritism and drug abuse can eventually cause physical and mental imbalances in people even after giving up this lifestyle. This could pave the way for a stroke, heart attack, or even a person falling victim to illnesses or STDs. Adolescents and adults no longer use drugs only on the streets; they also abuse over-the-counter medications, prescription medications, and even make their own from medications normally used for colds, along with other ingredients to create Crystal Meth. Teenagers also combine narcotics with alcohol, which can lead to accidents, passing out and, unfortunately, death. Tobacco and alcohol consumption are permitted in many parts of the world. Although smoking bans have been put into effect almost everywhere, many typical young people will smoke anyway and continue to smoke into adulthood. This addiction is more than just an addiction; it becomes a habitual routine. A person learns to include tobacco use at all stages of their life, and when it becomes a habit, it is harder to quit, almost like addiction to any number of different drugs a person might use. Smoking cigarettes has been confirmed to cause over 300,000 deaths each year in this country. Every death is largely the result of lung cancer, many heart disease diagnoses, as well as many other types of cancer. Pregnant women should not engage ...... middle of paper ...... daily.
