Essay / The unlimited changes in globalization and design engineering
The unlimited changes in globalization and design engineering have made the role of an industrial engineer essential. In this growing community, I want to be part of it. I believe that an MS in Industrial Engineering is a global platform for me to learn about current practices, growing challenges and advanced knowledge that will help me gain a global career in my field and enable me to effectively bring global solutions. My strong academic credentials and keen interest in industrial research motivated me to opt for a course in industrial engineering. I am also convinced that this is indeed my field of vocation and I have narrowed my areas of interest to supply chain management and product development. This field has become increasingly ubiquitous in the sense that it exists in transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, etc. Say no to plagiarism. Get an Original EssayNew designs in industrial engineering have the power to create a huge impact on an individual and society. One example is the use of plastic syrup bottles that do not break easily and were once made of glass. My natural interest and keen sense of mathematics since childhood adds to my production engineering skills and are the skills that will help me perform complex calculations in a course like industrial engineering. I understood and understood how to do things better and realized the need for greater efficiency and a greater approach to tasks, a method applicable to all areas of life. I am keen to use this effective and innovative approach to contribute to this field by creating cutting-edge methods for the development of engineering applications in industrial sectors. This belief has evolved over time. In early childhood, my father's work in TVS Sundaram fasteners helped me understand the basic knowledge of production and manufacturing. I enjoyed analyzing and comparing the working of bolts and nuts of different makes and brands, oblivious to what is happening around. An implicit interest since my school days fascinated me with this technology, its involved working principles and other associated systems. My thirst for knowledge continued to grow, which led me to choose production engineering as my main field of study, which is what I desire the most. Choosing science as my major in junior college provided me with a solid foundation in physics, which plays a vital role in an undergraduate program. Moreover, by achieving distinction at the university level, I was able to secure admission to the Department of Production Engineering at Velammal Engineering, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, India, one of the most prestigious institutions in 'India. During my UG studies, I learned subjects such as industrial management, production and manufacturing engineering, operations management and quality control. I took courses on AutoCAD, Catia, Solid Works, Creo and Ansys, which are necessary fundamentals for the design and development industries. One of my first exposures to industrial engineering approaches was when I designed and built a sheet metal punching machine. This introduced me to essential concepts and best practices such as reducing downtime, costs, improving operational efficiency and making the best use of available resources. This knowledge helped me topropose a model that simultaneously increases the efficiency and precision of the machine. I completed a major project on on-site leakage and defect analysis in boiler header welding, which helps improve mechanical properties. I have performed numerous experiments and optimized the best combinations of parameters necessary for effective improvement of the desired properties and in doing so, I have understood the engineering behind producing an effective product with better applications. Gradually, I refined my skills in product design and development, which I believe are essential in this field. I completed my industrial training at TVS SundaramFasteners Limited, Ashok Leyland Limited, Rane-Madras Limited India and gained hands-on experience of manufacturing processes and knowledge of the functioning of a factory from the initial stage of procurement to raw materials until official components are shipped. I felt the importance of effective industrial communication for healthy coordination of work, ultimately resulting in quality comprehensive product development. Additionally, I attended a workshop on Supply Chain Management under GA Menon Academy training as well as a Kerala Microsoft User Group workshop on Artificial Intelligence and digital future. All the practical experiences opened my eyes to various facets such as lean manufacturing, process and production planning, quality control, inventory, supply chain and manufacturing engineering activities. workshop. This exposure inspired me to broaden my horizon in industrial engineering and its techniques, also strengthening my interest in doing my master's degree in this particular subject. After completing my undergraduate degree, I felt that I needed to gain practical experience before pursuing graduate studies and decided to take a job. The ever-increasing role of automation in technology development can be realized effectively and I got the opportunity to work as a software engineer at UST Global PrivateLimited. Ensuring technical development within tight deadlines added to my knowledge in data analysis, customer relations and quality. Business user management, functional and technical problem solving, appropriate resources, technical negotiation, time estimation, cost control have further increased my organizational management skills. I have received many awards and appreciations from a client for my project. My experience has provided me with valuable technical knowledge and experience that will be of great benefit to me in my future technical and management-related work. Attending numerous technical festivals and conferences gave me face-to-face exposure. -face the cutting-edge techniques and technologies used and proposed. I worked as a member of the organizing committee of Fornya (national level symposium) at Velammal Engineering College. I also organized and participated in various technical and sporting events, which allowed me to develop my interpersonal communication skills, leadership qualities and team spirit. I received the Quality Circle winner award from Lakshmi Vidya Sangam. Besides studies, I have a passion for table tennis, which has greatly improved my mental and physical strength and helped me strengthen my decision-making skills. I like to go the extra mile for people and was engaged as a volunteer with Bhumi, an NGO, in most of the social activities of my university during my studies there. My main objective in.
