Essay / American lobbyists and their negative impacts...
Political systems in the United States work together to establish laws and create boundaries for their people. Government officials work with the Congressional Senate to help establish regulations not only for the American people but also for businesses to not become monopolies in today's market. All of this adds up to a legislative process for Congress to have clarity on passing effective laws that help strengthen outcomes within our society. Members of Congress and political affiliations are influenced by representatives of large corporations through the process of bribing these government officials to support the ideas and desires of these corporations. To make this happen, these companies are lobbying. Lobbying is the attempt to influence government officials in decision-making processes or to influence the government by employing tactics through various agreements in the form of verbal or written statements to public officials in Congress. This usually happens through donations of large sums of money to members of Congress in order to bribe them to support representatives of these corporations. As a result, corporations have largely influenced Congress, making it difficult to pass laws and bills that are not in favor of these corporations. Thus, lobbying is influenced by money and favors the interests of these specific companies. Lobbying is a powerful force that is generally invisible and a secret act among political members of Congress. It has the ability to shape laws within our society by using representatives called lobbyists. Lobbying is an influential activity and one of the largest activities related to politics. By expressing their interests in the middle of paper, practices take place every day in Congress. By implementing this system and imposing stricter rules on politicians, Americans should be able to be informed of all lobbying activities that take place in Congress. They should also ban donations from lobbyists, because it does no good to the American people for members of Congress to receive so much money. Additionally, freebies should not be permitted while attempting to win and dine with a member of Congress or any other state representative. In my opinion this can be seen in comparison with pharmaceutical companies which also have strong sanctions or limitations for not being able to influence doctors for new drugs. who come daily to prescribe to patients, this helps to create honest work for patients and a better environment for health care and should be widely applied to work for people.
