  • Essay / "It is difficult to succeed in this dynamic world"

The world is changing with geometric progression, so it is becoming more and more difficult for human beings to keep up. This has given rise to motivational talks, and there is no video, speech or book, where there are no expressions: keep doing what you are doing, never give up, push yourself to your limits and beyond ... These words are already deeply imprinted in everyone's minds, but what does it really mean to never give up? put into practice the theory/idea of “never give up”. Human is already an artist at birth, already having all the tools and supplies needed to create a masterpiece and all that's left to do is learn how to use them for the creative process. But what is the starting point and where is it? It's hard to wonder about the endless possibilities. Everything is possible but not everything can be done. So, constrain yourself. It's best to work in some sort of scene because you'll feel less lost. Your “scene” should be guided by ethics and morality. Recently I read “There’s No such Thing as Business Ethics” by John Maxwell. Yes, there is no “commercial” ethics, “political” ethics, “sporting” ethics… there is just: ethics. In short, he emphasizes that an ethical person is one who does the right thing at the right time. For the moment, think about the time saved by this. As there can and are books written on my chosen topic, but the two page limitation saves me time and being precise. The constraint of the domain keeps you and guides you on the right path: your morality dictates what is right, ethics makes you do good and together they act as a tailwind, boosting your energy while saving time - which is the precious one, the backbone to save. If everything is ready, the next concern is that there will be failures. What is your response to them? There must be something painted on the scene. It is already established that giving up is not an option, but “continuing” has two faces. There is a dilemma: give up the fight for now and try later while being much more prepared or keep doing it, continue to fight the battle without any brakes, while trying to improve your condition. Which is THE choice? Which will be viewed most favorably? These two faces can be expressed briefly: alone or with others? Both work, separately and together. For example, imagine that your setting requires a tree to be painted, but you have no idea what tools you are supposed to use or how a tree can be painted. So you have two options: paint a tree yourself several times, in several ways until you find your style; or you can ask those who have already painted a tree (or who use historical information) to teach you some basic techniques: the outline, the tools... this will limit the time you have to spend painting it, you will save a lot energy and also, you will always find your style along the way. The result is the same: the tree is painted the same way. Your style is the fruit of your way of thinking after having known other ways of doing it before you or by you; it is the foundation of “out of the box” thinking. It's up to you to judge and choose which one will be best suited to the situation in which you find yourself. The lesson.
