    This moment was, for me, the most traumatic part of the book. The feeling the author gives at this moment conveys the true pain the baby felt. I think Robert is incapable of feeling real emotion about Baby's painful experiences because he is separated from them by fifty years. I think the age of the author has some disadvantages. I think the integration may have been more difficult for him because the traumatic events were separated by more than half a century. However, by experiencing it this way, I believe it can help more people. I think because he is an accomplished person and writes well, he can give hope to other people with this disorder. At the end of the book, the author gives the reader his opinion on DID and the stigma attached to it. He lets the reader know that he is aware that some people are skeptical and that some people think that he and other people with IDD are making this story up. He also lets the reader know that talking about his disorder helps him in his overall therapy. Although he sees a psychiatrist, he has also tried meditation.
