Wrestlemania III is simply one of the greatest Wrestlemanias of all time, without 17 and 19 I would rank it as the best of all time. As much as I don't like Hogan's selfish ways and selfish thinking, he set the bar for other wrestlers and truly put WWE on the map, and his match with Andre paved the way for so much to happen. But the real classic of this series is Steamboat Vs Savage, we will rarely see better. Gorilla and Jesse Ventura are the perfect announcing tandem, and the crowd is huge and LOUD!. Can-Am Connection vs. Don Muraco and Bob Orton. Unfortunately too short, but it's really excellent for the time it had, and if it was a little longer it surely could have been closer to a 5* match!. Can-Am wins with a cross body.3 1/2 /5Billy Jack Haynes vs. Hercules. It's actually quite amusing for what it was, and I enjoyed the storyline behind it. Both look well behaved | Although I could be wrong, but I doubt it | But it was still an interesting power struggle. Double countout guaranteed, with Hercules bloodying Billy Jack at the end of the match, with his steel chain.2 1/2 /5Mixed tag team matchHillybilly Jim, The Hati Kid and Little Beaver Vs King Kong Bundy, Little Tokyo and Lord Littlebrook. Fun comedy match I guess, pretty harmless stuff. Bundy was about to come out shortly after, and it was pretty pointless, but I had a good time with it. Hillbilly's team wins by DQ.2/5Loser must bow before the king's match. Junkyard Dog Vs King Harley Race. Some amusing comedic antics, but it's nothing memorable at all. This one is meant to get the crowd playing, and they did a good job with that. Harley wins with a belly-to-belly suplex. It's not a classic wrestling match by any means, but its ramifications and the way it paved the way for so many things deserve its classic reputation. It's very scary, and the wrestling isn't as bad as you might think either. So many classic moments and a selfish but necessary ending make this one of the best matches in wrestling history. If you honestly need me to tell you the end of the match, you're not a wrestling fan.5/5Bottom line.
