    Title:The title The Bull Moose is an interesting title to use. Bulls are known to be rough and strong, which could refer to the strength and/or characteristics of moose. The moose is an animal that symbolizes old age, which may suggest that the protagonist of the poem is old. The word “Bull” is the term used to describe a bull moose; the author probably used the word Bull instead of masculine to emphasize strength and masculinity. Moose are commonly hunted as game. In this poem there can be a connection between man and animal. Bull riding is also a sport that includes human participation, so man can possibly partner (again) with the animal. In Greece, the bull and other animals are identified with deities. It can be inferred that the Bull Moose can, in one way or another, be considered “divine”. It presents an objective and unbiased perspective on the characters in the story, including the bull moose, a crowd, and the guardians. • The bull moose is described as “smelling the musk of death, seeing its large head/like a ritual mask of flowing blood...
