The endangerment of marine species has, is and will be a major problem for generations to come. Many actions have been taken to help resolve this issue since it was brought to public attention. None have been more effective than what started the movement and will continue to advance the movement for these endangered species. Vocational organization that defends and strengthens the Endangered Species Act, holds federal agencies and others accountable for their actions, advocates for private preserves when funding is lacking, protects and restores habitats, and reduces threats to wildlife. However, organizations that advocate for endangered marine species have their drawbacks. People who take the time to join an organization and advocate for things like endangered marine species tend to be and should be passionate about the issue. Which is a good thing, because they can rally more people to the cause. They are fully aware of the problem of endangered marine species.
