Every nurse has a contribution to make in solving health problems such as smoking-related diseases through prevention rather than treatment. This project aims to describe the different measures aimed at promoting, improving, rehabilitating and ultimately saving the lives of patients affected by smoking. Additionally, this project focused on how nurses can actively participate in tobacco control and the advancement of smoking cessation. This project will deepen the student's knowledge of smoking cessation, its impacts on health and the different methods used to quit smoking. The project will be of great importance to the nursing profession as it will address the need for in-depth and broad research to prevent tobacco-related deaths.
