For him, it's more than a job, it's a passion. It's something he loves doing. For him, it's more of a lifestyle choice than a business, he grows the products then sells them at the farmers' market. Derek firmly believes that Michael Pollan is right when he tells us to eat real food and know what we are eating. And he believes that our bodies can reflect on whatever we choose to eat: “if we eat better, we will feel fuller,” not only about ourselves, but also about how we would feel physically.
