A white prosecutor's vehicle was stolen by two black men, which made the situation stressful for the lawyer because he might lose a black vote or a vote for the law and the order. This is a major problem facing America today. Many of these situations that occur are based on emotion and how different races have come into our lives, either positively or negatively. If a black man did a good deed to a white woman, the white woman will generally remember that black man as a good man and she will have a positive view of the black race. Now, if a white woman has had a negative conflict with a black man, depending on the severity of the situation, she may have a negative view of the black race, because of the situations she has experienced. I think people aren't so much trying to be racial, but rather expressing their experiences with a particular race, perceiving the weather, and feeling comfortable or uncomfortable with a specific race. For example, a police officer stops a black SUV that his partner believes is the wrong vehicle. The police officer sees that it is a black couple driving the vehicle and decides to stop the vehicle anyway because of their negative experience with black people. Not to mention this police officer has a lot of problems in his life and is very overwhelmed because his father is very sick and needs medication to help him feel better. The police officer had bad experiences with the receptionist, when she was black and did not want to help the officer treat her father's illness. The officer then has a low opinion of black people, after all his father did was help the community get jobs and live a better life, regardless of their background, gender, ethnicity or their race. This infuriates the agent because the receptionist doesn't help him. The officer is on duty with a lot on his mind, while after facing a bad situation from a black woman, he gets to work.
