In some places resources are abundant and in others there are none. To truly succeed in this global knowledge age, individuals must put their ideas together and access the results needed to be productive in a society. Teachers and leaders come together to access and generate new knowledge and apply that knowledge to improve livelihoods and create new solutions, products, jobs, wealth and health. When people with ideas come together and access needed resources, we see the results in various forms such as: medicines, better harvests and learning innovations. Teachers and leaders work and communicate together to initiate the changes needed to build new ways of learning, sharing and accessing knowledge, and then implementing them in the lives of all students. At my school, we have learned that education, science, technology, and dedicated, hard-working staff members are the key to preparing our students for a quality global education and future. The Global Knowledge Strategy is open to all academic institutions, entrepreneurs, teachers and leaders ready to strive and do whatever it takes to achieve the mission.
