Team sports are a great way to make new friends and share a common interest.ParticipationTeam sports mean involvement and participation in an activity that keeps one fit and allows a person to make good use of of his free time. Playing sports helps teenagers physically, socially and mentally. Participating in a sports team can improve school connections, social support, and connections between friends and teammates. CommitmentBeing part of a team sport shows members' commitment and dedication to an activity. This allows the team member to learn how to engage not only in team sports, but also in life in general. Going to practices, games and meetings and showing dedication to a team you are a part of is vital. Athletes build character through their participation in sporting activities. Health Benefits We all know the health benefits of sport. Creating a team is a great way to share with others the benefits of exercise that requires being physically fit, but also mentally and emotionally fit and balanced. This is where yoga helps: the postures, breathing techniques and meditation. PAIN PREVENTION Yoga is known for its great health benefits, and one of the most important is pain prevention. Increased flexibility and strength can help prevent the causes of certain types of back pain. Many people with back pain spend a lot of time sitting at a computer or driving a car because they always sit in the same position; a position that improves neither your posture nor your health. This can cause tightness and compression of the spine, which you can treat slowly and gradually with yoga. Yoga also improves your alignment, both in and out of class, which helps prevent many other types of pain. Yoga exercises focus on posture while sitting or standing, and can actually prevent back pain or injury..
