Ineffective communication within organizational boundaries can result in several departmental conflicts that affect the business entity as a whole. Internal communication plays a vital role for almost every business entity and there are several lines of evidence to support this claim. Organizations with effective communication thrive and achieve their goals in a timely manner, while various other organizations fail to optimally utilize their resources. Many other organizations fail due to lack of information flow and inappropriate communication channels (Hanna, 2005). Due to ineffective connections between employees within the company structure, it can lead to conflicts between departments and affect the organization as a whole. Studies have shown that interdepartmental communication is one of the key issues an organization faces on a daily basis. This essay reflects the importance of sharing knowledge and learning within departments and how this can be overcome by considering possible measures and implementing them within an organization. From the management point of view during business operations the entity grows and as it develops the co-ordination and dependence on other department also increases significantly. For this reason, the organization's long-term objectives and goals are spread across many departments. Each unit has specific skills and capabilities that are aligned with the company strategy and to meet the same knowledge sharing is a very vital process.
