This is illustrated when Jesus predicted his death and resurrection a second time to the disciples. Mark reveals the disciples' disconnection from Jesus by stating, “But they did not understand what he was saying and were afraid to ask him. » (9:30 a.m.). In particular, the relationship between Jesus and his disciples can be interpreted as the relationship between humans and God in today's contemporary life.
