    Earth Hour is an annual international event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). This event actually asked us to think about what else we could do to make a difference and save our Earth. Participating countries will turn off their lights for one hour to demonstrate a universal commitment to protecting what unites us, across the planet. Unfortunately, most of us do not realize that this campaign will have side effects if we, as citizens, participate in it in the wrong way. Therefore, Earth Hour campaigns have countless uses and like all campaigns, they have drawbacks that include negative impact on human activities, increased energy reduction as well as emissions releases. in the environment and people's perception of Earth Hour. Does this encompass a negative impact on human activities. The favorite activity of young people when participating in this campaign is that they prefer to organize activities that harm the earth rather than saving the earth. For example, they will go to a concert to celebrate this event in the wrong way. “Just do a” (2011) says that there are also families or couples who like to prepare a candlelight dinner. Indirectly, they have increased carbon dioxide emissions, because for all the activities carried out, they will use transportation and, therefore, they will burn more gasoline and release more carbon dioxide ("Just do a", 2011) . In addition, candlelight dinner activities will also have a negative effect. as it will release carbon dioxide and air pollutants such as soot when the candle burns. People should think about the pros and cons when doing something. They cannot arbitrarily create activities to celebrate this event which ultimately... middle of paper... in the right way.
