    Most Americans do not care enough about the nutritional value of the foods they eat. This is why America has the highest percentage of obesity in the world. This is a serious problem because one in three adults is obese and one in six children are obese. There are many factors that go into the typical American diet, but most of these factors are neither appealing nor healthy. Americans consume far too many processed foods in their daily diet. Some would say that other countries' diets are superior to the American diet because of the nutritional values ​​it contains. Other countries have proven that an active lifestyle is an important component of a country's average weight. There are many things Americans could change about their diet and lifestyle that would help them be healthier.
