Essay / A comparison between my family and Michael's family
My parents love having the most spectacular new car, equipped with the latest gadgets and having an impeccable outfit. I feel like they care way too much about what the secular world thinks of them. Sometimes I think they think more about the world's opinion than their own child's. Michael's parents are very humble and happy to be able to get by in life. They don't need the latest car or new clothes. They drive their 2005 Toyota Corolla well and get by in life with the bare minimum. I have great respect for his parents in this regard. His parents are also generous and loving in many ways. Every time I go to their house or go out with them, they don't hesitate to pay for me. My parents, on the other hand, are sometimes very cheap. One day my dad told me that I couldn't order a Coca-Cola at a restaurant because $2.00 was too expensive for a Coca-Cola and it completely embarrassed me. This moment taught me a lot about
