The area of classroom climate and environment has been widely studied over the past thirty to forty years. Researchers such as Lorin W. Anderson, Sid F. Bourke, Rudolf Moos, Barry Fraser, and Urie Bronfenbrenner have contributed significantly to the evolution of our understanding of the impact that a classroom environment can have on students. However, many teachers are not aware that their classroom environment and climate are negative, or the effects that a negative classroom environment can have on their students. Accordingly, this literature review will explore the many different studies, articles, and theories that have been written about how one can measure classroom climate, the impact of the classroom environment, as well as how we can improve the classroom environment. environment and classroom management, it is extremely important to understand what environment and classroom management are.
