In the 21st aviation industry, Boeing and Airbus are extremely famous and successful in the financial field. There is a case to be made that these two companies have had many successes. In this essay, I will use the elements of the marketing mix to compare the effectiveness of the two companies' marketing strategies. Boeing is the global brand that supplies aircraft and provides enormous support to the United States, American aviation and serves government customers in 150 countries. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is the most popular model in the world. It has many unique selling points that develop brand image and differentiate Boeing from other producers. Even though the Boeing 787 is smaller and has fewer seats than other models, it is one of the best fuel-efficient models. Fuel costs are an airline's worst enemy. On the other hand, Airbus has also become a brand of quality and trust among the governments of many countries. The Airbus A380 has a larger size and its capacity is higher than that of a Boeing 787. This unique factor allows the Airbus A380 to increase the landing strip to 15,700 km. The Airbus A380 had 525 passengers, which attracted investors and buyers. Boeing and Airbus have many different departments when it comes to market segmentation and targeting. First, Boeing has segmented its product into Range 2, which are commercial aircraft; defense, space and security. Commercial airplanes mainly focus on normal consumers, everyone has the opportunity to use the services of commercial airplanes. In addition, the price is reasonable and affordable, which allows the models of this line to reach a peak in sales volume and successfully play a role at Boeing. Defense, space and security are oriented towards supporting a country's military and defense.
