Letter of IntentDear Ms. Sweet,We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with you on this project. We are sure it will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved. To raise funds for the Parent Infant Center, we will combine all our efforts to produce the best benefit concert the center has ever seen. The target audience for the concert will be local high school and college students and all proceeds will go to your scholarship fund. We began contacting amateur bands in the area willing to participate in a “battle of the bands.” Since the groups are made up of university students, we anticipate that they will attract a large audience of their friends and classmates. This event will be held on the University of Pennsylvania campus, making it easy for students to participate. It is quite possible that we will encounter some difficulties while trying to organize this event. One difficulty might be that if we don't get enough groups to participate, we may not be able to attract a large enough crowd. If this happens, we will expand our spectrum and promote the event to other middle and high schools in the area. It may also be difficult to find a suitable location to host the concert. We will do our best to find the most ideal venue for the concert and while we may not have our first choice, the University has many concert venues to choose from. Ticket sales could also be a potential problem, as using a professional ticketing agency could be too heavy a financial burden for our project. We will explore the most profitable ticketing options and find innovative ways for our team to sell tickets. We will divide into three committees: a coordinating committee, a marketing committee and a fundraising committee. The coordinating committee will find a location and the groups that will compete. The marketing committee will be in charge of advertising and promoting the event..
