Democracy is an important game-changer. In the past, people suffered from the ruler who abused his power to rule society. This unjust policy restricts the freedom of citizens, yet this situation has not changed for thousands of years. The pursuit of democracy has been a goal of most people for several hundred years. This not only destroyed imperial authoritarianism, but also brought us civil rights and a better quality of life. Why did this change the world? How could this last for several centuries? And what were the predictors of its success at the time? I would like to answer these questions below. Democracy is a game changer because it has inspired the human race and improved our lives. The concept was born in the Age of Enlightenment by philosophers like Rousseau and Montesquieu. According to Wilson (2004), they suggested scientific and logical thinking skills and made citizens aware of politics and social affairs. People became aware of the fatal problem of societal totalitarianism and therefore fought for their own innate rights. During the protest against democracy, the Declaration (1789) was made in terms of equality, rule of law, freedom and welfare, so the message of democratic revolution spread throughout the whole world and that countries like the Republic of China, India and some African countries could benefit from it. the fruit of the revolution and break the dogma of absolute obedience. Countries have thus demonstrated important qualities, such as justice and the rule of law. People could live better lives without cruelty. This shows us that democracy has changed the world and opened a new page in history. Even though democracy benefits the people, it risks losing its power if a society fails to deliver on the essentials. For example, if countries are poorly civilized or developed, it is believed that this is the end of history. Established in the 18th century, modern democracy has become gospel. of the world. By blessing more and more places, laws and freedom have become accessible to most of us. We can control future policies so we can live a better life.
