Elements of TheaterThe elements of theater consist of three basic requirements; Scene, actors and script. We think K-Mart needs to adjust its theater to give its customers a better overall experience. The current theater at K-Marts is uninspiring and, honestly, mind-numbing. In a simple market, the oldest form of retailing involves selling products to consumers. With the Internet allowing customers to shop online, retail stores like K-Mart must create "theater" in order to create experiences where customers are entertained or find value beyond purchasing products at lowest price. The current store layout of K-Mart is comparable to that of K-Mart. most other outlets like Wal-Mart and Target. We believe that K-Mart needs a distinct identity from these other stores in order to draw attention to the store. Over the years, K-Mart has failed to update or modernize its stores. The first thing K-Mart needs to do is brighten the lights, add more island space, and update the light fixtures so they look modern and clean.
