Alcohol, which is considered a drug, is so accepted in today's society that people view other drugs in the same way. Today, many people use drugs for fun and celebration, because they have the right to live as they please, as long as it does not harm others. Thomas S. In an open society, this is not one of the government's priorities. what idea a man puts into his mind; likewise, the drugs he puts in his body should not be the government's business. This issue is very controversial because the right to liberty only justifies drug use when no harm is caused to the person.
