Eventually, feeling useless in this world, Sequera decides to enlist in the army. He believed that since he was not rich enough to donate money to charity to help the people of his country, the best thing to do was to protect him and fight for him. Sequera enlisted in the Army at age 19 and was sent to Iraq a year later. Sequara's first day in Iraq was horrible, he was petrified but at the same time excited.
