Essay / The world's view on the growth of crime in our communities
The world's view on the growth of crime in our communities. Crime is probably the most common problem that most of us face and to some extent we talk about it but it is never really discussed. The works of crime are quite obvious and yet we are still asked to point them out as if something new or different was being carried out. My point is not to say that this problem is not being addressed, but rather to say that if our laws and orders were consistent, then crime would be less sustainable. It would be clearer if we could go back to the bottom and actually find the definition of crime. Crime is an activity that involves breaking the law, so in a nutshell it means it is PROHIBITED. I am now getting closer to the revelation of these mysteries. I'm a student on trips around the Vaal and I have to say the crime here is outrageous. Don't get me wrong, crime anywhere is outrageous, but it becomes even scarier and frightening when it occurs for two to three weeks straight in one area. And the irony of it all is that when this happens you can call the police and they take about an hour to get there and by that time the damage is already done so can you honestly blame anyone one to think that maybe the police and criminals work hand in hand? (Just out of curiosity) There are many factors that can lead someone to engage in criminal activities. And many times we think that crime is mainly committed by those who are poor or unemployed, but even those who are rich also commit crimes. Criminal activities can be caused by financial problems at home, being around bad people, etc. I have seen this happen to many people I know and grew up with. At present the situation has become worse because people no longer care even middle of paper...... paying off the debt that the people of the nation do not know about. Smith (2013) South Africa uses politics to cover up crime and promote lies. The emphasis on commerce in a country where everything seems to be for sale means that money can buy a lot of things. Silence, cooperation and journalism that reports exactly what it is told are all either bought or coerced. Some may think I'm subjective, but that's how most of us in the world perceive it. And to say it just makes sense, no one wakes up and decides to become a criminal, especially if you know that every action has a reaction.
