Stereotypes are implanted in the brains of young people. As they grow up and live according to stereotypes that control people, they are seen as a whole and determine how they behave towards each other. Stereotypes such as minorities stealing, killing, and participating in violent activities allow society to view these types of groups by comparing their behavior to that of animals. The five young men went from being innocent boys to becoming monsters or like a pack of wolves as some called them. The documentary reveals the ugly truth about how people of color are perceived in the public eye. A thin line between reporting news and interpreting facts was drawn during this case. These five young men of color were stripped of their 5th Amendment which prohibits individuals from being witnesses against themselves. They were used against each other and their humanity was taken with them. No person should be deprived of life, liberty or property when it is a right afforded to all men because we are all equal.
