Risk identification helps “identify and describe…current risk assessment and management approaches used in the field of adult mental health hospitalized” (Woods, 2013). Risk awareness is essential for identifying an event; therefore, the application of identification skills is ultimately appropriate for this facility. “Physical security features (e.g., locked doors), requiring all employees to display identification at all times, and extensive monitoring” are all important improvements that come from ID elements of risk (Kavaler & Alexander, 2014, p.165). All Alliance employees must have identification and keys to enter and exit the building, doors and elevators due to agents' constant escape attempts.
