Albert Einstein is considered one of the most notable scientific thinkers in history. His theories about the nature and dimensions of time and space enormously changed the way people viewed the physical world and established many of the fundamental foundations for many of our scientific discoveries and inventions in the 21st century. Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Württemberg, Germany, to a middle-class Jewish family that owned a small workshop manufacturing electrical equipment. Einstein showed signs of genius early on even though he didn't speak until he was three years old. Six weeks after his birth, his family moved to Munich; there he started school a few years later at Luitpold Gymnasium. As a child, Einstein was a bit unusual, not really interested in the typical activities that other children enjoyed, Albert was more fascinated by music, science and mathematics. . He loved playing the violin and even learned Euclidean geometry. Unfortunately, as Einstein's talents and genius became more evident, he began to despise the teachings of his school, which subjugated his creativity and genius. Einstein eventually dropped out of school in 1894, at the age of 15. The family business was on the verge of bankruptcy and could no longer stay open, so the family decided to close it and move to Switzerland. Albert Einstein followed his family and resumed his studies when they arrived. Later, Einstein was accepted into the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich. Then in 1986, he decided to renounce his German citizenship and remain stateless for a time before officially becoming a Swiss citizen in 1901.
