The geography of Africa put them at a great disadvantage compared to the Europeans, which ultimately allowed the latter to colonize the Africa with ease. The geography of Africa is very different from that of Europe. European crops were highly suited to agriculture and native animals could be easily domesticated. For this reason, farming in Europe did not require much effort and food surpluses could grow quickly. These surpluses allowed specialists to be trained. Specialists devoted all their time to developing new and advanced technologies, rather than to agriculture. With the creation of this advanced technology, Europeans quickly gained an advantage over the rest of the world. The opposite was true in Africa. African crops were difficult to cultivate and their animals almost impossible to domesticate. Because of this, Africans had to work much harder than Europeans simply to produce enough food to survive. Specialists could not be trained in African society because everyone was dedicated to agriculture. This absence of specialists led to a lack of advanced technologies, causing Africa to slowly fall behind the rest of the world. Africa eventually became so vulnerable that when Europe came to colonize the continent with the technology they had developed, Africa could do nothing to stop them. Part of Africa's disadvantage compared to Europe was its inability to receive crops and animals suitable for its needs. agricultural sectors of the Middle East and Asia.
