Between the book and the film I prefer the film. My reasoning is that the film seemed much more interesting to me. It made a lot more sense. I also like who they chose to play the characters in the film. It seemed much more interesting than the ones in the book. I have to admit that the book was quite good, although I found some parts rather boring. One thing I didn't like about the movie was that they changed or added details in the movie that the book didn't have. The ending of the movie was much better than the ending of the book. When you read a book and then go to watch the movie, you know that the book and the movie are usually different. In this case, that wasn't really true. I think the reason is that the book is so short that they had plenty of time to make the movie the same way the writer originally wrote it. Some of the additions to the film that I personally didn't like were: First of all, the setting of the film was around Christmas time. I understand they have to find a way to get Sir Henry Baskerville to Stapleton....
