Movies are a great way to take a break from your busy life and just relax. Movies have been entertaining you and everyone else since the mid-1800s. The evolution of film moved from black and white images to color and sound, finally arriving at 3D film. Filmmakers, artists, and inventors have spent hundreds of years perfecting the smooth motion of captured images one by one to create a ten-second film. So just think about trying to create the 3D effect or even how movies were created. Eadweard Muybridge was a director who made the first film in 1878, The Horse in Motion. He used several cameras and put the individual images into film. Muybridge's film was just footage of a galloping horse. Muybridge also invented the Zoopraxiscope, the very first cinema projector for making short films and films.
