Essay / A Burning Intelligence in Fahrenheit 451 - 1202
A Burning Intelligence in Fahrenheit 451In the 1950 novel Fahrenheit 451, AUTHOR Ray Bradbury presents the now-familiar images of mind-controlling worlds. The novel takes place in a future, perhaps near, where the world is at war and firefighters start the fire instead of putting it out. Clarisse even asks: "...a long time ago, firefighters put out fires instead of starting them?" ,..."(Fahrenheit 451, page 38) Here you can see how the truth is brainwashed and blinded to the people. Someone else who changed Montag's thinking, changed him by his actions and not by telling him anything. One day the fire department received a call. with the address of a person who was hiding books The firefighters, doing their job as always, went to the house to search for the books and burn them...
