I believe that studying is more than just gaining knowledge from textbooks, especially in the hospitality industry. Therefore, I try to learn new things and develop skills from textbooks. Working in positions such as reception and customer service is still my dream and seeking employment as a service department manager of a resort hotel is still my goal. The resort is different from the hotel. In fact, resorts mainly provide relaxation and recreation in addition to accommodation, that's the reason why I like resorts more than hotels. As we know, customer service representatives are the bridges between the business and the customers. They must be in direct contact with customers on a daily basis. Instead of repeating garlic peeling in the kitchen, I prefer to answer questions and further resolve customer complaints. I think I learn quickly and work smart. I can easily cope with changes in the environment and adapt to any work environment. Studying in Switzerland is a great example. Leaving my own country and integrating into a completely new environment is certainly not a difficulty for me. As a well-controlled person, planning a work schedule to increase work efficiency and training to quickly master new skills are my habits. Also, the area that I should improve will be my language skills, namely my spoken English and basic French. As I am interning in the food and beverage department in the future, certain skills and abilities are required for my next internship. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as I will have direct contact with clients or colleagues. Not only in person, but it also involves communication via email, phone or regular mail....... middle of paper...... and some short term goals that I need to achieve. “Practice makes perfect” In order to improve my spoken English, I will try to communicate more with my colleagues and clients. As my internship takes place in England, it will be a great opportunity for me. For my elementary French, I will practice my French via Moodle by doing quizzes and exercises. Of course I will make memories and review the vocabulary I learned during my internship. All must be completed before starting the semester of my sophomore year. Becoming a professional is still my dream. I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to work as a manager in a station. Looking back and reflecting on the changes I have experienced, my school life helps prepare me for the challenges I must face to succeed. I believe that what I learned in school will serve as a stepping stone to my future success..
