Welch NDTo succeed in today's global marketplace, managers and leaders must understand more than just technical skills. They also need to understand globalization and organizational behavior. Globalization is the tendency of companies, technologies or philosophies to spread across the world, or the process of doing so. Organizational behavior is a field of study that involves groups of individuals, their structure, and how to apply the knowledge gained in order to make organizations more effective (Robbins, 2014). Understanding globalization and its effects on organizational behavior is essential to interacting effectively in the modern global economy. These four Bible verses must be considered when considering globalization and its effects on organizational behavior: the Parable of the Talents, the Commentary of James, the Mosaic Decree of Leviticus, and the Creation Mandate of Genesis 1:27. The Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:13-30. In the parable of the talents, a man prepares to go on a journey. Before leaving, he summons his servants, entrusts each of them with a sum of gold and orders them to invest this gold for him during his absence. When he returns, he rewards those servants who invested his resources wisely and reprimands the one who failed to do so. The global economy has allowed people to take advantage of creating competitive prices around the world, allowing consumers to get the best value for their money.
