    Knowing that this survey will be carried out among a group of first year students aged six to seven years old, and that they are in the stage of life during which learners are in the process of acquiring their first language (L1) as well as a second language (L2); this theory will make it possible to identify the characteristics of a learner at this stage of the acquisition process. As stated in Saville-Troike (2006, p. 2) “The scope of SLA includes informal L2 learning that takes place in naturalistic contexts, formal L2 learning that takes place in the classroom, and of L2 which involves a mixture of these contexts and circumstances”.
