    I am always ready to give, whether it is money or time. One day while volunteering at the hospital, I was doing my water and ice rounds as usual. I walked up to the patient's door and knocked and a second later I hear someone say, "Come in." As I entered the room, I was greeted with a smile that belonged to a heavy built woman sitting on a chair placed next to her bed with her feet propped up. She wore red lipstick and her hair was curly. She greeted me with the biggest “HELLO”. She informed me that she was waiting for a volunteer all day, she asked me "what is your name" and I replied kindly while pointing at my badge: "My name is Carrington". Then I asked if she needed water or ice, she said, “Yes!” I started to get her a refill, when I returned to her room she said, "I wish I had something else for you to do." She told me to come back later to see if she had anything to do. After leaving her room the nurses but I went to work so by the time she was free it was time for me to leave so when I finally returned to the patient's room I told her I was just coming say goodbye to him. To my surprise, not only his family was also present in the room. She introduced me to her family and we chatted for a little while, I finally said "goodbye" and wished her and her family well.
