    The Constitution means something different to everyone. To some, it's a piece of paper, but to me, it's a standard by which the country should be run, giving us the freedoms we believe every human deserves. I have known for a long time that I would like to join the United States Army, and recently I realized that by doing so, I was defending the American way of life established by the Constitution. This document is the reason why our country stands out from others, the people of this country are free to do what they want (to a certain extent) and the armed forces risk their lives every day to defend this right. As people begin to express their freedoms more than ever, it sometimes seems distressing to those who defend their rights through reckless actions. But I understand that my future involves defending these rights because one day, when I have something to say, I would like to enjoy the same freedoms that these individuals express. I am convinced that the forefathers of the United States wanted what they wanted for the future of the nation and that we must now and forever follow the standards established by the Constitution to keep this country great and free from
