  • Essay / The Five Daughters - 904

Once upon a time, there lived an overprotective father who had five of the most amazing daughters in all the land. He was so protective that every night when they went to bed, he ordered the doors to be locked and two men to be outside the room to stand guard at all times. Despite this, every morning when the room was opened, the girls' shoes were worn out and it looked like they had been twerking all night. None of the father's bigger men could understand why this had happened or where the girls were. The father was so eager to get an answer that he made an announcement: whoever revealed the secret and found out where the girls went each night could have his favorite girl as a girlfriend. However, anyone who tried and failed for three days and three nights was put in prison. The first to take on the challenge was a man from a neighboring town. When it was time for bed, Drew was taken to the girls' room. He decided to stay there all night to watch where they were going. However, Drew soon fell asleep. When he woke up in the morning, the girls' shoes were all worn out. He spent the next night and the next night trying to stay awake long enough to see where they were going, but each night he managed to fall asleep and his father put him in jail. Several others attempted this task after learning of Drew's failure, but none were successful. It turns out that a soldier wounded in battle was passing through town. As he was walking, he met an old woman who asked him where he was going. “I don’t know where I’m going or what I’ll do when I get there,” he said, “but I’d like to know where he’s going.” do the girls go every night... middle of paper......and the third night, and they twerked again until their shoes were worn out. On the third night he took a cup of silver and gold to prove to the father where he was. The next morning, the father summoned the soldier to the office. The father asked if he found out where his precious daughters went each night. The soldier replied: “Yes. They dance with five men on an underground dance floor. He then told the father everything he had seen and presented him with the silver, gold and diamond leaves as well as the cup. He then called his daughters and asked if what the soldier had said was true. When they saw the leaves and the cup, they pleaded guilty.
