Books have been around for a long time and will continue to exist regardless of technological advances in publishing. Even if it turns out not to be environmentally friendly, online publishing represents the future of writing, with e-books dominating the book market and the preference for electronic devices over paper materials . What is online publishing? What effects will e-books have on the book publishing industry and which is more environmentally friendly?
