Well, this year I have learned more about myself than any other year. After spending most of my time last year snooping around, I was getting very little done, leaving much of my work to the last minute. I ended up rushing to finish things where I had the big F written on my final papers. My final grade was very poor, which really brought home to me: This is not how the real world works. While I had my sights set on going to EIT to become a primary school, I learned that I had to “really take my finger off,” as my mother always says. That’s when I came straight to school and was lucky enough to have a second lifeline. I was able to attend a boys' high school again to complete my level 3 studies. Looking back, I am very grateful to have the chance to return to school as I feel I am ready to move forward in the life, my level 3 qualifications giving me a more open spectrum for my
