The name Mercedes-Benz implies a multitude of thoughts ranging from elegance to performance. Mercedes has a connotation as being the quintessential form of a German-made car. They combine luxury and performance to create the perfect vehicle. “The best or nothing”, the Mercedes-Benz slogan sums up the past, present and future of their company. The two founders of the company (Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler) have been making history since 1886 (“One Star”). The timeless body style of all Mercedes-Benz models requires no annual changes. For Mercedes-Benz owners, this means no surprise inconveniences every year during “new car time” (“The Story”). The significant importance of Mercedes-Benz endures through its rich history, groundbreaking innovations dating back more than 100 years, and historic exhibition, featured in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center. Two men, Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, founded Mercedes. -Benz at the beginning of the 20th century. Karl Benz was born on November 25, 1844 in Karlsruhe, Germany, and was the son of an engine driver ("KARL BENZ MERCEDES). Throughout his youth he showed a real predisposition for machine mechanics, which inspired Benz to later attend high school in Karlsruhe and continued his studies at the Karlsruhe Polytechnic.
