    'F', which stands for Force, addresses unnecessary and excessive force used on individuals by police officers in any context. “A” which stands for Abuse of Authority, is about law enforcement officers using their power to get what they want. This can be done to the public or by senior officers to lower officers. “D” which stands for Discourtesy, relates to officers displaying rude and insignificant behavior towards the public while on duty. “E” which stands for ethnic slurs, deals with prejudice against the public based solely on race, culture, religion or nationality. There are departments within police services that deal with these types of cases which, in many cases, lead to disciplinary measures.
