  • Essay / Petroleum Analysis - 1080

Petroleum is a mineral oil resulting from a mixture of hydrocarbons and the decomposition of organisms that have accumulated over millions of years. Exploited by humans, oil is a fossil energy. It comes from the action of bacteria and under the effect of pressure and heat, these organic remains are transformed into oil. Oil cannot be extracted until it has migrated into rocks called reservoirs where it remains trapped underground. We therefore ask ourselves this question: on what criteria should decisions relating to the extraction and development of Canadian natural resources be based? The name of my company is called Shell, internationally or Shell Canada, for the country of Canada. The company aims to stop the release of CO2 into our atmosphere during oil extraction. Oil is sold across Canada at gas stations – approximately 1,300 stations – to serve the community. Company explanationShell Canada extracts and refines oil and gas (petroleum) from our lands to serve the country. The company offers products such as fuels, lubricants, bitumen and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). LPG is essential because it is used in everyday life for transportation vehicles such as automobiles, planes, trucks, etc. Extraction is concentrated in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories using gas tankers, pump-like machines that penetrate the layers of the earth to produce oil. There are many career paths at Shell. In Canada, they are recruiting a wide range of skilled operators and craftsmen to ......middle of paper ......r releases of CO2 into our atmosphere during extraction. Oil is sold across Canada at gas stations and Shell Canada looks forward to serving the community and country of Canada into the future. With regard to human dangers and pollution which is harmful to our environment, there are solutions to resolve several problems, for example the development of technologies which aim to capture and store CO2 emissions in our environment, by producing low-cost biofuels. carbon, by developing technologies to reduce the use of river water and by also developing ore recovery technologies to reduce disturbances in the soil. Who knows? Perhaps in the future another source of energy would be discovered and would not cause any harm to our environment.!
