The Golden Mean in AnatomyThe golden mean is a mysterious number that has been found in plants, humans, art and even architecture. It was first discovered and studied by ancient mathematicians in Egypt a long time ago. In the study of mathematics, one realizes that many patterns often occur. None has been more relevant or fascinating than the golden ratio. The golden ratio has many names and is often called the golden ratio, golden ratio, golden ratio and golden cup. The golden mean has been studied and taught for centuries and still remains the most interesting and fascinating thing to study. The golden ratio has inspired thinkers like no other element of mathematics. By studying the golden ratio, it becomes evident how relevant this number is in the world. Many architects and artists have used this ratio as a sequence of scale and proportion. The sequence is also relevant in music, nature and even the human body. Ancient mathematicians were so fascinated by this ratio because of its frequency in geometry. The first person to provide a written definition was Euclid. He said: “A straight line is said to have been cut in an extreme and average ratio when, as the entire line is oriented towards the largest segment, the largest is also towards the least.” This has been studied in depth by many mathematicians, but the most relevant was the studies of Leonardo Fibonacci. Fibonacci is famous for the work he did to create the Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci sequence was presented as a problem involving population growth based on assumptions. Fibonacci came up with the idea for early Indian and Arabic mathematics. He developed the theory and introduced it to the Western world. The sequence is explained starting with 1, 2 then adding the two t...... middle of paper ......d the word of God which is written in the Bible but with this information it is possible to a Christian to turn to mathematics to justify the faith. Genesis 1:1 God created the heavens and the earth and goes on to talk about how God created man in his own image. Its own perfect image, these mathematical perfections in the world are not mere random occurrences. There must be an important reason or creator behind these discoveries. In science, it is proven that we must act for the sake of action. If this is true, then there must be a working force or something that created everything in the first place. It's amazing how mathematics has such an influence on the world and the proofs it creates. The world is constantly influenced by numbers and mathematics and this mysterious number known as the golden ratio has proven to be the center of everything..
