The revolution itself gave us mass production and machines, but it also gave rise to disease and serious health problems, it gave life a feeling of dissatisfaction and caused serious damage in the world. The Industrial Revolution marked a huge change in production, in which machines replaced tools. Steam and other sources replaced human labor and animals working for skilled workers were replaced by unskilled workers with less wages. The Industrial Revolution resulted in jobs done at home by family members, such as spinning yarn, being carried out using large, powerful machines in factories, such as the first textile and cotton spinning mills.
