They are primarily based in a magazine or fashion editorial setting. Fashion photographers take photos of celebrities and designer clothes, for magazines and advertisements. Glamor photographers and fashion photographers will take photos of models and their clothes. These images, however, are intended to enhance a person's beauty or style, and many of them are retouched or airbrushed. Another type of photographer is still life photography, which involves taking photos of static or still objects. This may include elements such as landscapes or architecture. One of the advantages of being a still life photographer is the travel time available to the photographer. Another similar type of photographer is the photojournalist. Becoming a photojournalist also allows for a lot of travel, but it also requires an agreement that requires you to leave a habitat as it was when you arrived. For example, if a starving child were in front of the photographer, the photographer would be unable to help and feed him.
